Simple 3-step process
Orthopaedic Triage
MTP Health's Medical Director Dr Jonathan Negus, will review your imaging, referral details and questionnaire results to determine urgency of next steps and if any further information or imaging is required prior to scheduling your assessment time.
OA Clinic Attendance
Our team will contact you to coordinate your attendance at the next available OA Clinic. These run fortnightly at our St Leonards & Frenchs Forest practice locations. Here your joint movement and function is evaluated.
Reporting & Planning
Your imaging, questionnaire and functional assessment results are collated into a comprehensive report for you and your referring doctor. This includes a recommended plan for next steps.
One fee for the whole process.
ALL steps of multidisciplinary assessment, reporting and planning for a one off payment of $499
All requisite assessment & consultations covered
No additional out of pocket expense for assessment & planning
NB: Any intervention engaged with post planning is paid for seperately. Fee does not include braces, injectables or surgery (if required)
What does the FULL process actually involve?
Step 1
Book OA Clinic Triage
You will receive a series of emails and text messages from us please complete ALL requested information.
A valid GP referral is required to Dr Jonathan Negus (Medical Director) for OA Clinic Triage.
Step 2
Receive a Call from Us
One of our team will contact you within 2 working days following the review of your submitted information. To discuss next steps and schedule the OA Clinic attendance (if indicated).
Please note: If information is not provided ie. Imaging, referrals or questionnaires triage cannot be completed.
Step 3
Attend OA Clinic
Attend the confirmed OA Clinic session where your joint function (range, stability, strength and power) are assessed to provide a comprehensive report of your joint.
This clinic will include time with Physio, Exercise Physiology and Sports Medicine where required.
Step 4
Follow Up Treatment
Based on the outcomes of your Clinic evaluation a tailored plan for helping you achieve the best outcomes for your joint pain is provided.
You can complete your plan externally with your practitioners of choice or you can continue with MTP and we will support you full journey to pain free joints.
